Dear All,

On behalf of the French Society of Nutrition (SFN), French Federation of Nutrition (FFN), Federation of European Nutrition Societies (FENS) and of International Union of Nutritional Sciences (IUNS), I am delighted to welcome you in Paris to participate to the 23rd International Congress of Nutrition of IUNS, which will held at Palais des Congrès on 24-29 August 2025.

The main theme we have chosen is “Sustainable Food for Global Health”. However, alongside this main theme, all the fundamental, clinical, epidemiological and social aspects of Nutrition will be addressed in the form of lectures, symposia, oral communications and posters.

We have ensured that all continents are represented, both on the Organising Committee and on the Scientific Committee, so that allthe national, regional and continental specificities of Nutrition can be expressed. We have made a special effort to make it easier for colleagues and young researchers from LMICs to attend. Within the Palais des Congrès, we have set aside a large networking area where you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas in a comfortable setting.

In addition to the aspects of Paris that have made it famous, with the Seine, its monuments, cafés and charming hotels, it is easy to reach by plane, train or roads. You can also take advantage of the local infrastructure that will have been put in place for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. French gastronomy is no small part of Paris’ appeal, and we will do our utmost to live up to this reputation. We have also thought about offering participants routes and places in the city dedicated to sustainable food. For families, we’re offering a social programme not just to discover Paris and its surroundings, but above all to make them want to come back.

International Symposium on Obesity

The Société Française de Nutrition (French Nutrition Society, SFN) and The Nutrition Society are hosting the International Nutrition Symposium on Obesity – their first joint conference on this very important topic. The two Nutrition Societies have come together to deliver you a fascinating programme, covering genetics, environmental factors, gut-brain axis, adipose tissue, metabolic complications, obesity prevention, bariatric surgery, and new drug discoveries. There will be keynote speeches, symposia, and short talks by early career researchers. Save the date for the International Nutrition Symposium on Obesity at Institut des Cordeliers in Paris (University Paris-Cité), 30th – 31st January 2025!

The Nutrition Society Winter Conference 2025: Dietary guidelines and advice – current and future, in London, UK

Since the first International Conference on Nutrition (ICN) in 1992, dietary guidelines have become central to global and national nutrition policies. Over the past 30 years, however, the nutritional landscape has shifted, bringing new challenges.

This conference offers the nutrition community a platform to discuss the evidence needed for the next updates to the Eatwell Guide and other Food-Based Dietary Guidelines. Attendees will gain insights into the current role and evidence base of dietary guidelines, their impacts, and the gaps that need addressing. The event will also foster discussions on future research priorities to ensure guidelines remain relevant for the challenges of 2050.

21-23rd of November 2024

9th International Congress of Nutritionists in Zagreb, Croatia

The International Congress of Nutritionists is a major meeting of nutritionists in Europe, with around 400 participants and over 40 speakers worldwide.

In addition to the plenary lectures, the Congress consists of numerous lectures on various topics covering all areas of interest to nutrition scientists. The Congress promotes and rewards the work of young scientists and researchers in the field of nutrition and invites the presentation of innovative practices. One day of the Congress is dedicated to interactive workshops for students and participants, where new knowledge and skills are acquired through collaborative discussions, problem-solving, and practical examples.

17th - 19th June 2024

Nordic Nutrition Conference 2024

The 13th Nordic Nutrition Conference is jointly organized by the Norwegian Nutrition Society, and co-hosted by the Institute of Marine Research and the University of Bergen. 

The NNC 2024 will take place the 17th - 19th of June 2024 in Bergen, Norway.

Deadline for abstracts is the 31st of March 2024.
